🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The director constructs a narrative on the absurd clash of scientific method and folk superstition, relying on classic kaiju film tropes within a modest budget. It explores Japanese mythological imagery, transforming a fearsome spirit into something both comical and threatening.
What lingers after the viewing is a joyous, genre-blending carnival executed with genuine affection for its own ridiculous charm. Those who tire of polished blockbusters will find raw, energetic fun here. — MovieFinder Editorial
