It's 3:00 AM at the Firewater Club, and Stanley has had more than enough to drink. When he tries to take over leading the orchestra, the manager - a former boxer - lets him know that he needs to restrain himself. 🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The short film constructs a classic comedic scenario around the escalating tension between a disruptive, pie-eyed patron and the club's no-nonsense management. It relies on precise physical timing and expressive silent-era acting to build its humor from a simple premise to an inevitable, chaotic payoff.
What lingers after the final gag is the pure, uncomplicated joy of a well-executed slapstick routine, a reminder of comedy's universal language. — MovieFinder Editorial
