The Dupes

Three Palestinian refugees, bound by dispossession and a fragile hope, cram themselves into the tank of a truck. Their destination is the border to Kuwait, a promised land whispering of a future. Within the suffocating, pitch-black metal cylinder, the boundaries between past and present dissolve. The personal narratives of these three men intertwine into a single strand of fear, endurance, and desperate yearning. The journey becomes a crucible, testing the limits of the human spirit when all that remains is the ghost of a homeland and the weight of a dream.
