🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The silent comedy constructs its humor on the escalating chaos one clumsy man can bring to a disciplined construction site. It relies on physical gags and perfectly timed mishaps, building toward a famously disastrous payoff.

What lingers after the final beam is removed is the pure, uncomplicated joy of visual slapstick. A reminder that sometimes the simplest setups yield the biggest laughs. — MovieFinder Editorial
