Short Orders
Stan plays a waiter at a crappy restaurant and frankly such fare was better done by Chaplin and others. However, in two cute scenes, the film shines. The first is a Limburger cheese bit that is low-brow but funny. The second is the final scene with dogs following Stan at the end.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a simple sketch-like plot, relying entirely on physical comedy and food-related slapstick. It explores the chaotic potential of a cheap restaurant setting through a series of escalating mishaps.
What lingers after the forgettable gags is the charming, almost poetic final shot. Its gentle humor provides a sweet, unassuming conclusion to an otherwise rough-and-tumble short — MovieFinder Editorial
