Commute
Alexey commutes to work every day on a crowded train. One morning, he notices something impossible in the window of the adjacent carriage: his own reflection, but ten years older. He dismisses it as fatigue, but the visions persist. Teaming up with his colleague Marina, he begins an investigation that leads them to a derelict depot on the city's outskirts. There, they discover archival film reels from the 1980s featuring the exact same people who ride the train today. The line between reality and nightmare blurs when Alexey realizes the train isn't just transporting passengers—it's collecting their memories. This 2026 documentary horror film explores themes of recurring cycles and collective memory.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The director employs found footage and verité-style shooting in actual commuter trains to build a sense of documentary truth, which is then shattered by surreal, intrusive imagery.
Those who appreciate slow-burn psychological dread will find the mundane details of the commute transformed into sources of deep unease. What lingers is a palpable paranoia about the spaces we inhabit daily. — MovieFinder Editorial
