Unplug
Alex wakes up in an empty apartment with no memory of the past few days. A strange device on his wrist displays a countdown. A voice in his earphones explains the rules: he must stay within a five-kilometer radius of the apartment, or face 'disconnection'. Alex gradually realizes that the experiment is run by the corporation 'NeuroNet', testing a new digital confinement technology. Every contact with the outside world reduces the time on the timer. When he finds a message from another victim of the system, a race against the algorithms controlling reality begins. This 2026 sci-fi thriller explores the boundaries of digital dependency and the price of freedom in a world where virtual prisons become the new normal.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The director builds tension through minimalist cinematography, with the camera rarely leaving the confines of the apartment, creating a claustrophobic effect. Sound design plays a crucial role — the ticking timer and electronic interference become characters in their own right.
Those who appreciate cerebral thrillers about invisible systems will find much to unpack. What lingers is a paranoid urge to check the privacy settings on every device. — MovieFinder Editorial
