Christopher, an ordinary boy from Riga, discovers an ancient key-pendant in his grandfather's heirloom chest. Upon touching the cold metal, he is whisked into a parallel dimension where magic intertwines with technology, and familiar city streets warp into fantastical landscapes. Teaming up with an unexpected ally—a girl native to this shimmering realm—he must locate the key's missing counterpart to stop the catastrophic merging of their two worlds. Their quest leads them through whispering forests, floating libraries, and encounters with creatures from Latvian folklore, reimagined for a new generation of adventurers.
