Remaining Paintings

2010 · 8 min

This work is, just the shades of the raw film emulsion, a work that creates an image. Using the double emulsion technique, three-dimensional multi-layered raw film and it created a unique shadow. Production without taking or developing photographs. This is the ultimate experimental film because it is screened using the original raw film. At first, the emulsion surface of the film was milky white, with each projection, it gets burned and darkened. The impression of the work changes subtly each time.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Remaining Paintings is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2010 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
