Miracle: The Boys of '80

It's 1980, South Korea is under military rule, and for teenagers from a provincial city, such a trip seems like an impossible fairy tale. The 2026 documentary uses personal interviews and archival footage to reconstruct the story of a real youth team whose sporting odyssey became an unexpected political gesture during the dictatorship. The director intertwines the private memories of the players with the chronicle of the era, showing how a childhood dream of football collided with the harsh realities of the Cold War and internal repression.
