Extreme Life
Li Cheng, a former mountaineer, loses his legs during an Everest expedition. Rather than accepting defeat, he begins training for a marathon on prosthetic limbs. His wife Xiaoyu sees it as madness but silently supports every grueling session. Coach Wang, a disabled veteran, becomes his mentor, stating, "Mountains don't ask how many limbs you have. They ask how much will you have." The 2026 drama explores not physical limits but the boundaries of the human spirit, where every mile is a battle against pain, doubt, and one's own reflection. The film was shot with real Paralympic athletes, and training sequences were filmed at 4,000 meters in Tibet.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Director Zhang Wei employs static frames and minimalist editing to build a sense of internal pressure. His camera lingers on details—cracked lips, trembling hands, sweat beading on prosthetic sockets.
Ideal viewing for when you need a quiet but potent nudge into motion, not loud inspiration. Li Cheng's story functions like a metronome, marking the rhythm of perseverance. — MovieFinder Editorial
