Jack, a former animator, now works in a call center selling unnecessary insurance policies. His life is an endless loop of scripts and conversations with invisible people. One night, stuck on an overtime shift, he receives a call from a boy who claims to be trapped inside an old video game. The boy begs Jack to help him escape, but to do so, Jack must guide the game's character through every level via phone instructions. As their strange collaboration unfolds, Jack realizes the boy isn't just lost in a digital world—he knows a dark secret from Jack's own past. The animation intertwines the gritty 2D style of the call center with psychedelic 3D graphics of the game levels, creating a visual rift between dull reality and vibrant virtual chaos.
