Mile 666

Jake, a truck driver drowning in mortgage and loans, accepts a job to haul a mysterious cargo along Route 666. His partner, a grizzled veteran, just smirks darkly at the unmarked container. The first miles of desert highway pass quietly, but as night falls, whispers fill the cab, and the radio catches fragments of prayers in dead languages. When the GPS reroutes them onto a forsaken forest road and the container behind begins to thump dully, Jake realizes the payment for this haul is his soul. The film explores the fear of the unknown on an endless road where every next turn could be the last, and salvation is just an illusion in the rearview mirror.
