The Flood

Adam returns to his hometown after a ten-year absence. He plans to spend just a couple of days there — to sell his father's apartment and forget this place forever. But a chance encounter with his former classmate Magda turns everything upside down. She works at the local theater and persuades Adam to help with a production that's on the verge of collapse. Gradually, old resentments, unspoken feelings, and ghosts from the past rise to the surface, forcing the protagonist to reconsider not only his plans but his entire life. The 2025 comedy-drama explores themes of homecoming, forgiveness, and whether one can ever truly run away from oneself.
