Jake, a former rock musician, finds an old cassette with a demo recording by his deceased sister. Instead of surrendering to grief, he decides to complete her unfinished song, leading him into the underground world of New York recording studios and a confrontation with the ghosts of his own past. This 2026 music film explores the boundary between mourning and creation, where every note becomes a step toward reconciliation. The story unfolds through improvised jam sessions in abandoned lofts and tense studio recordings where past and present resonate in unison. Jake is forced to collaborate with the cynical producer who once destroyed his career to uncover the essence of the music left as sketches on magnetic tape.
