Max, a former detective turned taxi driver, hates his life. His only comfort is his collection of stuffed animals, which he talks to as if they're alive. Everything changes when a woman with a suitcase full of cash gets into his cab, asking for a ride to the airport five minutes before her flight. Instead, Max accidentally takes her suitcase, and she drives off in his taxi. Now he's being hunted by gangsters, the police think he's a kidnapper, and his only witnesses are his stuffed friends, who suddenly start giving him advice. To survive and return the money, Max must recall his detective skills and trust toys that seem smarter than he is.
