Salah Seleh

Salah returns to his ancestral village after years working in the city. His father's death leaves him with an old house and mounting debts. Instead of selling and returning to urban life, Salah chooses to stay. He attempts to revive a neglected olive grove, facing skepticism from neighbors and his own uncertainties. This 2025 drama explores the theme of returning to one's roots in contemporary Morocco, where tradition meets economic pressure. Through daily labor and sparse conversations with the village's remaining elders, Salah gradually uncovers an unexpected understanding of his father and himself.
