Li Heng, a former mercenary, hides in the Valley of Letting Go of Resentment. His past catches up when a gang arrives at the mountain village, searching for a hidden artifact. The local elder asks Li Heng to protect the villagers, forcing him to recall the skills he swore to forget. With each fight, the line between protector and killer blurs.
