The Sword Drawer

Sanya works in an antique shop and dreams of becoming a great swordsman. His life consists of dusty books and boring clients until he accidentally finds an ancient chest labeled "Do Not Open." Inside is not just a sword, but the spirit of a 16th-century samurai who believes he's been sent to hell because of air conditioning and smartphones. The 2025 comedy unfolds in a cramped Moscow apartment where the spirit demands tea ceremonies while Sanya tries to explain housing regulations. Their absurd cohabitation leads to a series of ridiculous situations: from battles with a vacuum cleaner to attempts at ordering sushi through an app. The film balances between everyday humor and fantasy, exploring what happens when eras collide.
