Li Jun, an ordinary taxi driver, finds an antique mirror in his car. At first, he assumes it's just a passenger's forgotten belonging, but soon notices peculiarities: his reflection sometimes lags by a fraction of a second, and at night, silhouettes of strangers appear in the glass. When his colleague vanishes without a trace after gazing into the same mirror, Li realizes the object didn't come to him by accident. His investigation leads him to an abandoned 1930s psychiatric hospital. There, he uncovers a series of mirror-related rituals conducted by a mad doctor attempting to open a portal to the world of the dead. Now, every midnight, the mirror activates, and reflections begin stepping out, pursuing anyone who has looked into it. Li must find a way to destroy the artifact before his own reflection completely replaces him in the real world.
