Time Out

Mark, an architect from Paris, receives a letter from a former lover he hasn't seen in ten years. She asks to meet in a small town in the south of France where they once spent a summer. Arriving there, Mark finds the town almost unchanged, but Anaïs herself doesn't show up. Instead, he finds a key to their old beach house and begins to recall those days when they were young and believed love could last forever. The 2025 romantic drama explores the theme of missed opportunities and how the past continues to live within us. Mark wanders familiar streets, talks to locals who remember the couple, and gradually realizes he didn't come to find Anaïs, but to finally let go of that version of himself that stayed here with her. The film becomes a meditative journey into memory, where every frame is filled with nostalgia for what could have been but never was.
