Juan Carlos wakes up in Caracas with one thought — today he will finally leave the country. His plan is simple: sell his last guitar, buy a ticket, and disappear. But the city seems to have other plans. An old friend proposes a "final" concert, his ex-wife calls asking him to pick up their son, and another blackout begins outside. This 2025 tragicomedy turns a single day into a metaphor for an entire life, where absurdity becomes the only logic and blues serves as the soundtrack to an impossible decision. A story about leaving while staying, and finding home where it seems to no longer exist.

The director employs the camera as another character — it follows the protagonist at arm's length, catching his breath and peripherally documenting city life. Shots are often static, as if Venezuela itself has become a set one cannot exit.
Those who appreciate bitter irony seasoned with carnival colors and sudden musical pauses will find resonance here. After the credits roll, a peculiar feeling lingers — like visiting people who have learned to laugh so as not to cry. — MovieFinder Editorial
