🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs its comedic dynamic on the contrasting personalities of the naive Li and the cunning Ah Tim. Director Michael Hui builds a series of escalating gags, relying on the signature Hui brothers' style that blends social satire with slapstick and farce.
What lingers after the credits is the infectious energy of a treasure-hunt comedy where greed leads to a cascade of hilariously misfired plans and chaotic misunderstandings. — MovieFinder Editorial
