Li Jun opens his eyes at seven AM, and his day begins with the identical route: subway, office, endless spreadsheets. He knows every crack in his cubicle ceiling and every sigh from the colleague behind the neighboring partition. The 2026 comedy transforms the routine of office servitude into an absurd spectacle, where meetings last longer than some marriages, and the main enemy isn't the deadline but the broken coffee machine. Director Zhang Wei finds humor in the daily humiliation of clerks whose dreams fit into a lunch break.
