🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The director constructs a narrative on stark contrast: tender romance coexists with body horror, while a folk tale twists into tragedy. It relies on Khmer mythology, exploring themes of forbidden attraction and its consequences through a supernatural lens.

What lingers after viewing is a hypnotic parable about love and vengeance, where the human and spirit worlds tragically collide. — MovieFinder Editorial
