Madison, a biology student, discovers a strange tape in the family archive documenting a ritual from the 90s. Her aunt, a member of the esoteric feminist cult 'Bikini Guillotine', vanished after the filming. Teaming up with her archivist friend, Madison starts an investigation, but each recovered tape alters the reality around them. Clothing in wardrobes develops a mind of its own, mannequins in stores mimic the movements of victims, and reflections in mirrors lag a second behind. The cult, meant to liberate women through pop-culture aesthetics, created something that feeds on the very idea of image. The investigation becomes a fight for control over one's own body and memory, where the primary weapon is not a needle, but a gaze capable of distinguishing the original from the copy.
