Anatomy of a Lost Sound

In the Belgrade archives, sound engineer Marko discovers a reel with a recording from April 1941. The tape preserves the last peaceful sounds of the city before the bombing — children's laughter, tram bells, street conversations. Marko begins searching for people who might have heard these sounds and those who survived that night. His investigation becomes a journey through layers of memory, where every noise becomes a historical witness. The 2025 documentary drama explores the nature of collective trauma through acoustic archaeology. The film combines survivor interviews, archival footage, and artistic reconstruction of events, creating a polyphony of personal and historical narratives.
