Saturday Night's Main Event XL

Jake, a former wrestler, now manages a run-down gym. "You think they come to see your muscles? They come for the story," an old promoter tells him. On a Saturday night in a provincial town, his final match is set to happen — illegal, dangerous, and utterly pointless. Around him orbit a failed promoter, a hysterical ex-wife, and a teenager who believes wrestling is true art. Each tries to squeeze the last pennies, glory, or at least a drop of self-respect from this show. As unpaid bills pile up and bones break, Jake realizes the only way to win is to admit his defeat.
