The Mystery of the Haunted Castle

Petr, an ordinary schoolboy from Prague, discovers an ancient book with moving illustrations in his grandmother's basement. Opening it to a page depicting a castle, he suddenly finds himself in its halls, where shadows converse and knightly armor comes to life at night. Teaming up with a ghostly girl named Eliška who cannot remember her own name, the boy must solve the central mystery: why all the castle's inhabitants are frozen in time, and who stole the stars from the celestial ceiling of the ballroom. Their quest leads them to the Clockwork Keeper, a being of gears and ticking mechanisms who knows the way back. But to return home, Petr will have to make a choice that will alter the fate of the castle itself.
