Jätkien ja tukkien valtamailla

1946 Documentary

A documentary about the forestry work in Lapland during the war reparations years. Finland's expensive green gold is being harvested in a snowy winter. Finland is the most forested country in Europe, there is an ever-increasing workforce, the work is hard, the food is delicious, sweat comes off the muscles. The horse is a tough colleague, but there are both "fighters" and "bombers" in the convoy. Kämp has a sharp head for the management and a dull head for the crew, and there is guaranteed to be a sauna in every one.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Jätkien ja tukkien valtamailla is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A classic from 1946. They don't make them like this anymore — which is exactly why you should watch it. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
