Counter Cowboys

Martin, a bartender from Hamburg, dreams of a career in cowboy rodeo. His daily routine of pulling beers and listening to patrons' complaints transforms into an absurd training camp right behind the counter. He practices his lasso with bar towels, using empty bottles as shooting targets. His colleague Lena, a cynical waitress, thinks it's nonsense until she gets dragged into preparing for the local "Best Bartender-Cowboy" contest. This 2025 comedy explores escaping grayness through the most ridiculous dream, where the Wild West meets the smell of stale beer and the clinking of glasses.
