The Klimperclown
Fritz Müller, a retiree from Hamburg, has spent his life collecting bizarre musical instruments. One day he decides to form an orchestra from his findings — from a piano with fish bones instead of strings to drums made from old pots. His neighbors laugh at first, but gradually get drawn into this absurd project. The 2025 documentary comedy shows how an ordinary person can turn their passion into genuine art, however strange it may be. The director follows Fritz with the camera without interfering, allowing the viewer to witness the birth of something unique. The film balances sincere admiration with gentle irony, exploring the boundaries of creativity and human stubbornness.
