Hayya 3: Gaza

Ahmed returns to Gaza after a decade in Europe. His architecture degree is now just a piece of paper against the backdrop of his hometown's ruins. Confronting a childhood turned to rubble forces a choice: build new homes or dig tunnels? His sister Layla, working at a local clinic, sees every euro he brings not as aid, but as a new form of dependency. Their argument is more than a family conflict—it's a clash between two truths about survival. The film explores the fragile line between hope and fatalism, where each day is not life, but a postponement of death. The viewer witnesses not a political manifesto, but an intimate chronicle of people whose dreams collide with concrete walls and barbed wire.
