Las mujeres son cosa de guapos

Rufino and Jacinto, two dim-witted but brawny men, land a job working for political boss Malatesta in 1930s Argentina. Their duties involve intimidating opponents and rigging elections as hired muscle, or 'guapos.' Their simple world of brute force is upended when they encounter the lovely Mercedes and La Mendocina, women who have suffered under Malatesta's gang. Suddenly, loyalty is tested not by threats, but by the pull of genuine affection and a chance to be heroes. This crime comedy pits clumsy thugs against their own hearts against a backdrop of period political machinations.
