Jeg tror jeg elsker dig
Marcus, an architect from Copenhagen, returns to his hometown for his father's funeral after a ten-year absence. The encounter with his former lover Jakob, whom he abruptly left, promises nothing but awkward silence. Yet the old house, filled with mute witnesses to their youth, and all the unspoken words force the past to rupture the present. Over three days, Marcus is compelled to re-examine every life choice, confronting the ghosts of a relationship he believed long buried. Jakob's quiet fury and Marcus's own guilt weave a fragile web where every gesture, every glance poses the same question: can what was irrevocably lost ever be reclaimed? The film explores the limits of forgiveness and that fine line where love turns to regret and memory becomes a prison.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Director Anders Jensen constructs the narrative on minimalism and pauses, where what remains unsaid holds more weight. His camera captures not actions, but their echoes in interiors and on the actors' faces.
Anyone ready for a drama that unfolds not in dialogue, but in the silent exchange of glances across a kitchen table, or in how two people share a space while trying not to touch, will find it here. — MovieFinder Editorial
