Christmas at the Cupiello House

Luca Cupiello, an elderly Neapolitan, loses himself in the meticulous construction of the family Nativity scene, seeking refuge in its miniature perfection. Around him, domestic turmoil erupts: his son Tommasino survives on petty scams and steals from his own uncle Pasquale, his daughter Ninuccias clashes with her husband and plots to run away with her lover, while his wife Concetta desperately shields Luca from the escalating chaos. As the household threatens to unravel, the old man finds solace only in arranging tiny ceramic shepherds and saints, crafting an illusion of order and peace that his real family cannot provide.
