Aitor returns to his native Basque village after a decade away. His father, the owner of a small cheese dairy, is gravely ill, forcing the son to take over the family business he once scorned. Against a backdrop of silent mountains and the hum of milking machines unfolds a 2025 drama about generational rift, responsibility, and the search for roots. Aitor struggles to connect with his father, whose language is silence and age-old cheesemaking traditions. Surrounding them are fog-draped valleys, a flock of Latxa sheep, and strained relations with locals for whom he will always remain an outsider. The film explores the fragile bond between a person and the land, between the modern world and a fading way of life.
