Die Kinderschwindlerin

Lena, a young woman, accidentally becomes a "professional grandmother" for families looking to impress social workers. Her improvised performances as the sweet but slightly eccentric Oma Hildegard grow so convincing she starts to lose track of where the act ends and her real life begins. Complications arise when a couple hires her, only for their actual grandmother to unexpectedly return from a world cruise. Now Lena must stage an entire family drama, juggling three "relatives," a lovestruck postman, and her own conscience reminding her that deception, even with good intentions, has a way of spiraling out of control.
