Maggie has always hated Christmas, but this year her anti-holiday spirit hit an all-time low. It started with her boyfriend dumping her a week before the festivities and culminated in her spending Christmas Eve trapped in an elevator with her workplace nemesis, Jake, in a deserted office building. Instead of a family dinner and presents under the tree, they're left with vending machine snacks and dying phone batteries. Their forced confinement spirals into a series of absurd arguments, awkward confessions, and unexpected revelations. As the hours drag on in the cramped cabin, Maggie and Jake begin to see past their professional rivalry to the actual people behind it—complete with fears, hopes, and hidden vulnerabilities. What was supposed to be the worst night of her life suddenly challenges everything she believed about love, career, and holiday magic.
