Sushant, a young programmer from Mumbai, unexpectedly inherits an old mansion in a village from a distant relative. Arriving to sort out the paperwork, he discovers the house is inhabited by the ghost of Sushila—an eccentric woman who died in the 1970s. Instead of haunting him, Sushila starts pestering him with requests: to find her lost necklace, sort through old letters, and, most importantly, help her finally watch the movie she never finished in life. Their odd cohabitation turns into a comedy of awkward situations as Sushant tries to maintain a normal life, hiding his new "roommate" from neighbors and a potential girlfriend.
