Brand New Landscape

Hiroshi, a retired architect, climbs the hill daily to gaze upon the city he once helped design. His solitary ritual is disrupted by a young woman who silently occupies the neighboring bench. A strange, wordless competition for the best view unfolds between them, gradually evolving into an unspoken connection. Their encounters become the only anchor in lives where the past has lost its grip and the future remains indistinct. The film explores loneliness within a crowd, the search for meaning in routine, and the unexpected forms of human contact that emerge when language falls away.
