Commissioner Clara Steffens receives a call from Spain: a German pilgrim's body is found on the Camino de Santiago. The only clue is a strange symbol carved into the skin. Her investigation plunges her into the world of spiritual seekers, where everyone hides more than they seek. Steffens must separate true faith from hypocrisy as the killer continues their own personal "pilgrimage."
