Sonkan returns to his hometown village after three years of studying in Seoul, expecting progress but finding everything stubbornly unchanged. His childhood crush Mina now works at her family's restaurant, while a local developer eyes his family's land. A bus-stop conversation: «You thought the city would change you, but it turns out you're meant to change what was always here.» Between village festivals, comedic misunderstandings, and rekindled feelings, Sonkan discovers that real growth starts with preserving roots, not escaping them. The film explores the tension between tradition and modernity through a generation learning that moving forward sometimes means looking back with new eyes.
