🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The series constructs its comedic world by relying on Andrew Bergman's signature satire, albeit in a more subdued, made-for-TV manner compared to its cinematic predecessor. It explores racial tensions through the lens of western parody and situational absurdity.
Those who tire of overly broad comedy may find its tempered approach a refreshing, character-driven take on the genre. What lingers after the credits is the charm of an amiable, if less incendiary, spoof. — MovieFinder Editorial
