My Grandfather Is a Nihonjin

Luís opens an old photo album and sees a picture of a grandfather he never knew. Instead of dusty memories, the old man himself appears — alive, cranky, and utterly real. Thus begins their unusual journey through Lisbon, where past and present intertwine on narrow cobblestone streets. The 2025 animated drama explores the delicate boundary between memory and reality, family secrets, and the need to let go of what is already gone.
