We Have to Talk

Ana and David return to the empty apartment after their father's funeral. Between them lie years of silence, unspoken grievances, and a suitcase of the deceased's belongings that must be sorted. Each item becomes an excuse for the conversation they've long avoided. Director Carla Simón constructs this 2025 chamber drama as a series of painful revelations, where the family's past slowly unfolds through forgotten photographs, old letters, and childhood toys.
