🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Lucas constructs a cinematic experiment that relies entirely on sensory perception. It explores the boundaries of documentary filmmaking, discarding narrative in favor of pure rhythm and imagery, where the protagonist is a mechanical organism in its elemental state.

What lingers after viewing is a hypnotic impression of raw motion, a study where the essence of speed is abstracted into light, color, and deafening sound. It’s a foundational glimpse into a major filmmaker’s formative obsession. — MovieFinder Editorial
