Stealing the Sky

Mark, an air traffic controller with a decade of experience, accidentally overhears two pilots in his headset planning to steal a private jet right from the hangar. Instead of reporting it, he decides to beat them to it and pull off the heist first—just to prove he can. His plan, scribbled on a napkin, involves hiring a former mechanic who's afraid of heights and a flight attendant dreaming of becoming an Instagram influencer. While the police search for a mythical gang of professionals, this trio of misfits tries to roll a Boeing 737 down the runway using his grandmother's tow car. Every plot twist is a chain of absurd coincidences, from a parrot left in the cabin repeating passwords to an airport manager who mistakes the theft for an anti-terror drill. The film balances on the edge of farce and detective story, where the main intrigue isn't whether they'll steal the plane, but whether they'll make it before the terminal bar closes.
