Max, a former IT prodigy, now works as a courier in a world where internet access has become a paid luxury commodity. His old friend Leo, currently an underground data "digger," proposes a risky scheme: to steal the last free Wi-Fi router from a derelict satellite. Their journey takes them through the "Digital Desert"—a zone where technology is banned, and "signal hunters" lurk around every corner. Meanwhile, bureaucrat Eva is trying to uncover a corruption scandal surrounding a new digital tax, unaware that her investigation will collide with Max and Leo's madcap plan.
