🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its narrative through physicality and psychological trauma, relying on the contrast between the protagonist's external debauchery and internal wound. It explores self-destruction as a form of defense, where each new man is a step in a search for lost wholeness.

What lingers after viewing is a stark portrait of an era where personal desire clashes with societal chains, and healing is a painful, elusive process. — MovieFinder Editorial
